    Being a #SunriseHunter in Bromo means you’re fighting legions of people from all over the globe, intent on the same perfect moment or photograph you have your heart set on. After waking up at 2:30 AM, riding half-awake in a jeep made in 1978, climbing several kilometers past where vehicles can go, fighting for a spot on Mount Pananjakan — all in the dark, that second the sun breaks through the clouds, it’s all worth it. Every step you took to be part of a moment where French, German, Indonesian, American, Australian etc etc are all united in appreciation for the majesty of nature.
