My name is Kirsten Alana. I take pictures. I travel. I write. I tweet. I read everything I can get my hands on and I’m always listening to music. People say I’m lucky every day to travel so often and to call NYC home. I say, it’s not luck. After a brutal divorce and a childhood of abuse, I simply decided I wasn’t going to life a life I didn’t LOVE for even one day more. So with determination and a little help from friends and family, I’ve built a life I love. It didn’t fall into my lap.
